We are excited to officially announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Summer session of Her Shot Golf, taking place at Bobby Jones Golf Course.
This six-week program is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to develop golf skills while building confidence, leadership, discipline, and lifelong relationships through mentorship and structured programming. Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where each participant can grow both on and off the course.
We encourage families who are interested in joining the next cohort to submit their applications as soon as possible. Spots are limited, and each application will be carefully reviewed to ensure the best fit for the program and the participants we serve.

Her Shot is a leadership and youth development program founded by Bria Janelle that empowers youth ages 11–18 to navigate education, workforce pathways, and long-term independence—leveraging the game of golf to build confidence, discipline, and real-world skills.
The foundation of Her Shot is rooted in the legacy of Bria Janelle’s grandfather, Ron Townsend, a trailblazer whose career began in the mailroom and progressed through discipline, perseverance, and merit to become President of Gannett Television. His journey reflects the core values Her Shot upholds: accountability, work ethic, opportunity, and upward mobility.
